Workshops

We are planning two sessions of hands-on workshops with many techniques being demonstrated at each session.

You will be able to move from one to another, watch, ask questions and even have a go yourself. You may also opt for a short series of tutored sessions to actually tackle a not too challenging model project yourself.

Layout tours

Arrangements have been made to visit a wide variety of home layouts on the Saturday and Sunday afternoons.These have been arranged into five tours from which you can choose one each day, subject to capacity.

Prototype tours

A guided tour of Ferrymead Heritage Park will be available on the Sunday afternoon.

Model competitions

There will be two model competitions. You are encouraged to enter the traditional NZAMRC model competitions for both scratchbuilt and kitset-based models of all types.

Model displays

This is your convention and this part needs YOU. We will have an area set aside to display your models. But for an attractive display we need you to participate. PLEASE BRING AT LEAST ONE MODEL.
