Introduction
Since 1979, the Garden City Model Railroad Club has been growing to the point that it is now open 7 days a week within the Ferrymead Heritage park.

Christchurch Model Railway Convention 2010 - April 1st to 5th 2010

The Garden City Model railroad club was proud to be this years sponsor for this years New Zealand Association of Model Railway Clubs (NZAMRC) bi-annual convention held over Easter in Christchurch.

Over two hundred people enjoyed the event attending workshops, showing off there models/ layouts and took the opportunity to meet other modellers and the convention special guest British modeler and author Ian Rice.
