Introduction
Since 1979, the Garden City Model Railroad Club has been growing to the point that it is now open 7 days a week within the Ferrymead Heritage park.

Earthquake Closure
Due to the events of February 22nd, Ferrymead heiritage park is closed until further notice. Information on the current status of the park can be found at their website. http://www.ferrymead.org.nz/

The Garden city model railway clubhouse is currently awaiting inspection to determine wether it is safe to re-enter. For the time being club members are asked not to attempt to enter the building for their own safety and to contact a committee member on any matters concerning gaining access to the premises.

All Sunday running rosters are cancelled until further notice.

At present there is no timescale for when the clubhouse will be in use again. However, the committe is currently looking for alternative venues to hold club meetings.
